Transformation is a slow process

Transformation is a slow process

When we are getting near the end of the winter, we start to see how flowers could grow through the ice. Beauty is there. Beauty has been there for a long time before it could emerge.

In transformation processes, we would like to see results emerge quickly. We put in efforts but we are often tempted to give up … too early. We do not fail because we did the wrong thing, we do not fail because we did old things for too long (though it might be the case). We fail because we do not persist.

We believe that what we do is not original. But think of it, nothing is really original. Borrow from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, old music and new music, old and new books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. We can drive a culture of curiosity. And we can also drive this specific mindset of persistence.

Select only things and borrow from what speaks directly to your soul. Forget about old world or new world, accept to be guided by what speaks to you, deep inside. If you do this, your work will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent.

In any case, remember: “It’s not where you take things from that really matters – it’s where you take them. Patience, persistence and inspiration make an unbeatable combination to break through”. Why don’t your drive a  culture based on persistence.
